Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I apply for a Business License for the City of Weaver?

Call the Business License Clerk at (256) 820-1121 ext. 103.

2. How do I make a water and sanitation payment?
We gladly accept CASH, CHECKS, MONEY ORDERS, and DEBIT / CREDIT CARDS in the office.  There is a small fee to use your debit/credit card.  You may also pay your bill ON-LINE at weaver-alabama.org for the same fee.  The drive-thru is available during regular business hours, and you must have your bill and payment ready to make a payment at the window.  The drop box is available after business hours for checks and money orders; be sure to write your account number on the check.  BANK DRAFT is available; the drafts occur on the 10th of each month.  If your bill is paid on or before the due date, the net amount is due.  If the bill is paid after the due date, a 10% penalty will be added and you must pay the gross amount.  If you do not receive your bill or need to know your balance, contact the Weaver Water Department at (256) 820-1121 extension 101, and we will be glad to help.
